While on they way home from Wales via Gloucester, I hopped off the Cross Country 170 that I borded at Gloucester at University Station in Birmingham to see if I had a chance of riding a West Midlands Railway Class 323 on the Cross City Line (having ridden the Northern 323s around Manchester), and of course I did! The first clip is a pair of 323s deparing University towards Reddich, and I got on the Lichfield bound train to New Street. The second clip is the interior shot of the Class 323 departing Five Ways before New Street. These won't be around on the Cross City line much longer, but at least I got a ride on a WMR 323, and I may well see them around in the North West.
