We awoke to 100 foot flames. Two restaurants, palalpa, bar and a cabina burned to the ground. One worker lost everything. The other 8 are without a livelyhood until this beautiful place can possibly be rebuilt. They were holding back tears, apologizing to US! Please lets help them.

They are:
Wanda (salonera), Francella (salonera), Marco (cocinero), Leo (cocinero), Eliza (cocinera), Yaiza (recepcionista), Edwin (mantenimiento), Daner (gerente).
The second photo is how it is now without the third cabina and palapa/restaurants.


I’ve never created one of these before so please help. A few hundred dollars per worker would go a month or more in replacement wages.

kudos to the bomberos who stopped the fire from spreading... and to the workers and management of Las Olas Hotel Playa Hermosa Costa Rica... who have made so many people’s beach and surf trips so enjoyable!
