Everyone loves ice cream! So Dr Brain and his team of young scientists would like to make their own.
To do so, they must think carefully about the temperature of their mixture if they want it to change state from a liquid to a solid.
Through this experiment the team discover that with some ice, a little salt and plenty of shaking, they can indeed get the mixture to the correct temperature and turn it into solid ice cream!
They learn that in order to freeze their mixture quickly they must use salt, which will speed up the freezing process by lowering the temperature to -10 degrees Celsius!
