This Camaro's solid body panels are straight steel pieces that display excellent fit and world-class finish. Its vivid paint is a brilliant coat of Candy Apple Red PPG that reflects a glossy, wet-look shine. That unbeatable combination is the product of a professional, 3-year build that was completed by New Kensington, Pennsylvania's Kustom Koncepts Hot Rods & Auto Restoration in the spring of 2003. And the result is one very well done pavement scorcher that still drops jaws and turns heads wherever it roams.
A one handed hoist of the car's lightweight hood reveals a tweaked, 427 cubic inch big block V8 which wraps roughly 900 horsepower and 850 lb./ft. of torque in show-stopping bliss! At the top of that balanced and blueprinted mill, a red-detailed BDS air cleaner funnels wind into chrome Holley 750 carburetors that are serviced by a Barry Grant pump, a Marshall pressure gauge, a Barry Grant regulator a custom rail and braided Russell hoses. Below those carbs, a polished BDS 8-71 blower feeds ported and polished Merlin heads, which anchor Crane springs, titanium retainers and Manley valves beneath custom, color-keyed rocker covers. Below those heads, a steel GM crank turns Wiseco pistons and Eagle H-beam rods at the sides of a beefy Crane roller cam. Combustion is sparked by an MSD 6AL ignition system, which is hooked to an MSD Pro Billet distributor, an MSD Blaster 2 coil and MSD Super Conductor plug wires. Cooling comes courtesy of a polished aluminum radiator, a big electric puller fan, polished fluid tubes and a high quality Meziere electric water pump. And spent gases travel through ceramic-coated Hedman Hedders, which bolt in proximity to a color-keyed Powermaster alternator and polished Powermaster starter.
Behind that big-bore engine, a smoothed GM Turbo-Hydramatic 350 3-speed utilizes a reverse-pattern manual valve body and Total Cost Involved 3,800 RPM stall converter to put the power to the pavement. Behind that transmission, a stalwart Ford 9-inch spins a limited-slip differential around Strange 31-spline axles and Richmond 4.56 gears. Holding that tough transmission off the ground is a body-matched front half, which hangs narrowed and relocated Fat Man control arms at the sides of custom air bags and fresh Monroe shocks. Holding that narrowed rear end off the ground is a Chris Alston's Chassisworks back half, which makes good use of Aldan coil-overs, relocated shock mounts and massive wheel tubs. All that impressive hardware gravitates around a molded, boxed and smoothed frame that's been tied together, channeled one inch up front and channeled four inches out back. The drivetrain's momentum is countered by red, 4-piston Wilwoods, which clamp 12-inch rotors at all four corners. The engine's 3-inch Hedman Hedders flow into a 3-inch, ceramic-coated exhaust system that sends spent gases through an H-shaped crossover, custom billet clamps and modified SuperTrapp mufflers. And everything rolls on 15-inch Billet Specialties Talladegas, which spin 26x7.50 Mickey Thompson Sportsmans in front of 31x18.50 Mickey Thompson Sportsmans.
Tap the button for this cool F-Body's remote keyless entry and you'll find a clean and inviting interior that's a nice combination of quarter mile safety features and open road conveniences. During the restoration, a smoothed, 6-point roll bar was built around Allante-covered Fiero seats. Between those seats, a custom, sheetmetal console centers a Hurst Quarter Stick shifter between small power window switches and a bold (ð§SS(ð§ emblem. At the front of that console, a custom dash hangs Auto Meter Pro-Comp gauges between a billet VIN plate and remote-controlled Alpine head unit. And in front of the driver, a stylish Billet Specialties steering wheel spins around a fixed column.
From its industrial drivetrain and trick suspension to its killer big block, this spectacular Camaro packs BIG performance inside a legendary wrapper. Call, click or visit [ Ссылка ] for more information.
