Demo Warlock spec Thyrinar boss kill in 1 minute flat with no adds. AFFliction spec is NOT NEEDED. 100% easymode as DEMO SPEC !
BASIC DEMO SPEC STRAT:
Required talent: Aura of Foreboding (root/stun)
ReForge: Boss is ONLY a lvl 85 Elite. Drop all your extra hit and stack heavy into Mastery. Treat him as an ELITE - not a BOSS.
1. Stand at edge of platform behind Teracosa close to the boss when he rises.
2. Immediately pre-pot when he begins to speak or cast purple mark on the ground.
3. Use passive mode Felhunter with Spell Lock and Dispell toggled off (non auto)
4. Spell lock his first cast and step back so boss is within melee range.
5. Pop EVERY DPS CD you have including Doomguard
6. Use Hand of Gul'dan everytime it is up
6. Spell Lock EVERY spell he casts that you can catch
7. Dispell Thyrinar when he heals (bubble animation)
This will basically gurantee the boss dies before the first add can even spawn ! Hand of Gul'dan will keep him rooted on the platform and Spell Lock causes him to simply sit there and look silly !
