1. Kohat Jirga Updates:
Tajamul Agha and Jalal Bangish were present in the Kohat Jirga.
The government pressured them to gather weapons and hand them over, but they requested two days to consult with their advisers.
Weapons are deemed essential for their survival, and the decision will be announced after discussions with their advisers in Parachinar.
The president of Anjuman-e-Faruqiya and Saifullah, representing Ahl-e-Sunnah, also attended the Jirga.
2. Parachinar Helicopter Assistance:
A helicopter approved by the KP government will assist students and stranded individuals:
Students studying abroad or in Pakistan, unable to travel due to road closures, will be transported.
Individuals with expiring visas, stuck due to travel restrictions, will also be airlifted.
The Wafaa government has committed to covering all fuel expenses for this operation.
3. Army Operations in Central Kurram:
The army sent two guns to the Parachinar army camp, which were used in an operation last night.
Targeted strikes were conducted in Central Kurram, focusing on areas with terrorist activity.
Specific locations were not disclosed but confirmed operations took place.
4. EDI Ambulance Resumption:
The EDI ambulance service in Parachinar was non-operational for two days due to a petrol shortage.
Petrol is now on its way, and the ambulance service will resume shortly.
5. Maryam Nawaz's Air Ambulance:
A woman in need of urgent medical attention was airlifted by an air ambulance sent by Maryam Nawaz's team after her son emailed her.
The patient has been successfully transferred to a hospital for treatment.
