► At least 1-thousand people have been killed after a powerful earthquake hit Afghanistan. The 6.1 magnitude quake struck in a mountainous region in the southeast overnight near the border with Pakistan, destroying hundreds of homes and causing major landslides.
It's thought another 1500 people have been injured.
