since 2001 the sealing surfaces of all vespa engines are badly machined. u see it yourself when u sandpaper them, u need quite some while till you have similiar grinding marks in the surfaces which means the surface is 100% even
no idea why this problem exists, perhaps senior luigi retired and the new guy just didnt give a s.. ? everythings possible. better rework them, it helps avoiding gearbox oil sucking
