Please join CSIS for a presentation on India’s G-20 priorities, led by Mr. Amitabh Kant, the G20 Sherpa for the Government of India. Mr. Kant will be in conversation with Mr. Richard Rossow, Wadhwani Chair in U.S.-India Policy Studies at CSIS.
India will assume the Presidency of the G20 from Indonesia on December 2, 2022 for a 1-year term. Mr. Kant will share the Indian government’s priorities for its term and take questions from the audience. Prior to his role as G20 sherpa, Mr. Kant held a series of prominent government roles including as the Chief Executive Officer of NITI Aayog and Secretary, Department for Promotion of Industries and Internal Trade (DPIIT) in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, as well as senior postings with the government of Kerala.
