Follow Simon's directions on working out which parking sensor is or isn't working.
Put the car ignition on, put the gear into reverse (handbreak on). Make sure there is someone in the car to ensure you don't drive backwards whilst the other person is checking the rear sensors.
Bend down to locate the parking sensors and put your finger and ear near each one. You can hear a ticking noise if they are working.
