In this fun ride review video, I'll be riding and discussing Kawasaki's 2015 Versys 1000 LT. Winning "bike of the year" when it was first introduced, the Kawasaki Versys 1000 LT is packed with great features including ABS brakes, multi-mode traction control, multiple power settings, a slipper clutch, ect. Added to these tech features are convenience features that include an adjustable windshield, great range, comfortable ergonomics, matching luggage, luggage rack, 12v outlet, gear indicator, trip computer, fog lights, hand guards, etc.
Monster power is delivered by Kawasaki's 1042cc inline 4-cylinder motor from their Ninja 1000. It develops 127 hp on the dyno and 78 lb/ft of torque. Not only is this motor powerful, it is easily controllable and transitions smoothly from off throttle to on throttle situations. The easy handling, slick-shifting six-speed transmission, smooth-running beast of a motor, and all-day comfortable ergonomics make the Versys 1000 LT a formidable tourer, a capable commuter, a wickedly competent sportbike and a tremendously fun ride as well! Priced well below its European counterparts, the Kawasaki Versys 1000 LT is one of the best used-bike values!
