A man dies after falling off a Pearl Street building in downtown Buffalo.
A 28-year-old man from Niagara Falls died early Sunday morning when he fell off a downtown Pearl Street building, according to a Buffalo Police spokesperson.
The man fell from from either the fourth-floor or fifth-floor of a building in the 500 block of Pearl Street around 12:30 a.m. Sunday, according to a spokesperson for the Buffalo Police Department.
The man was declared dead at the scene. His body was found near 500 Pearl Street. The building is a newly built multi-level mixed-use building in downtown Buffalo. There are restaurants and a hotel in this building.
Police say the fall appeared to be accidental, but an investigation has been launched.
