Enjoy a short preview of the ancient Tuscan hill town of Pitigliano, Italy. The town is also known as "Piccola Gerusalemme, or "Little Jerusalem" after its once large Jewish population that settled here in the 16th century to avoid persecution from the Vatican. The earliest known mention of Pitigliano dates back to 1031AD but the area has been inhabited since Etruscan Times. A 16th century aqueduct runs along the side of town.
