SDGs 4, Quality Education, includes the target that all learners acquire knowledge and skills in the areas of “sustainable development and sustainable lifestyles, human rights, gender equality, promotion of a culture of peace and non-violence, global citizenship and appreciation of cultural diversity and of culture’s contribution to sustainable development”. While this SDG dates to 2015, the Global Education Program at the University of Alberta has similarly focussed its activities on these issues for more than three decades. Learn about best practices and hear some examples implemented by this Program. Originally presented as part of the University of Alberta International Week 2022.
