This is a quick tutorial on how to take decent iris pictures for an iridology reading. Your iridologist will most likely have a professional setup with an iridology camera, but if that's not an option for you (i.e. too far away), this will do. The most important thing is that both pictures (both irises) are focused as the iridologist will have to zoom in and enlarge the images further for an accurate reading.
If you have someone who can help you take the pictures that makes it even easier. Especially if you can’t hold your eye open wide just by itself – in that case you will need to hold your eye lids open with two fingers. The other person could then hold the flashlight and take the picture.
Iridology is a great method to assess one’s state of health. The iris of the eye is a "map" where each place represents a different organ or body system. When an organ is not functioning well, the whole body is affected and that shows up in the iris, pupil or sclera (the white around the iris) as well.
