Today's Video is on the Otter Messer Drei Nieten Messer or Three Rivet Knife. It is a very robust and handmade traditional knife from Solingen Germany.

The Otter Drie Nieten Messer ( 3 Rivet Knife) is a large Slipjoint knife with a total length of just over 7.5 inches. It features African Blackwood handle covers, brass pins , steel liners and spring.
Over all the quality is really good on this Solingen made traditional folding knife. At a price of around 50 Euro, the fit and finish is pretty well done.
There is one Issue with this Otter Knife and that is the Steel bolsters are not ground very evenly. This does not take away from the functionality of the knife and I would still consider it a very well built handmade traditional knife for the money.
This is my first experience with an Otter Messer knife and I have to say I am impressed with how robust and sturdy it it. It is built like a tank and it has great action. The spring is really strong and the pull weight is a 7.5-8 out of Ten.
I am really excited to add another traditional slipjoint from Solingen to my collection and I believe this one will be one of my daily users.
