I recorded this song straight from scripture in my lounge today - I chose these two scriptures because they speak to the sufferer, the one going through pain and what seems like a hopeless situation:
James 1:12 is speaking to the one who perseveres even through the hardest time, encouraging me that there is a blessing that awaits.
Psalm 62:5-6 reminds me who God is - that I am able to rest in Him knowing that no matter what, I will not be shaken because I have an all powerful God with me.
He hears our heart cries, we are not forgotten, and He has written it in His word. Thank you Lord.
This song is a part of a project I started a few weeks ago called #projectwordsuffering . It is my dream that the world would know how amazing God's word is and how it is an ever present help, even in times of suffering.
