MG Extender 2021: Chinese Pickup
New 2021 MG Extender Maxus T70. The essence of the Maxus T70 pickup, which came this year to replace the Maxus T60 model. Maxus brand, by the way, also comes from the British Islands: He belonged to LDV, the tangled story of which deserves a separate story. However, in the end, all of these once British brands were assieved in the portfolio based in Shanghai SAIC concern.
2021 MG Extender is traditional: he has a spiner frame, an undiscriminated rear axle with springs and an independent spring front suspension, rear or four-wheel drive, six-speed "mechanics" or "automatic" plus lower transmission. The engine, of course, is borrowed from Maxus - this is a new two-liter turbodiesel, developed jointly by SAIC and General Motors with an eye on ecological euros 6D. True, for Thailand, the ecological class is reduced to Euro-4, besides, only 163-strong modifications with one turbocharger will be proposed on the local market, although the Maxus T70 has a biturbo-engine with a return of 218 hp.
The richest versions of MG Extender 2021 will be able to boast six airbags, climate control, "leather" interior, rear-view chamber and descent assistants from the mountain, the control of blind zones and rinds. In the Thai market, the new MG pickup is rather attractive: from $ 17800 for the basic machine to $ 33,400 per top version. However, the market struggle in the "Country of Pickups" of the new model will have a serious: three-quarters of the market here holds Toyota, Isuzu and Mitsubishi Trinity, and the remaining share is distributed between Picks Ford, Mazda and Chevrolet.
