This video is a demonstration of conventional methods used to prove an electrical device is faulty before replacing it. Circuit testing and voltage drop testing are shown. After proving the part is faulty we swap out the left rear door lock actuator on a 2000 Chev Suburban. This is a followup to a video done three months ago where I temporarily solved the problem with lubrication of the sliding parts. There is more detail in that video regarding the structure of the inner door panel and a few wiring diagrams you might want, here.
