As the East African community strives to solve the growing tension between Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of #Congo, political analysts warn that hate speech wrapped around ethnicity in both countries is aggravating the situation – and in turn endangering citizens. The #EAC has suggested that regional forces be sent to the Eastern DRC. CGTN Correspondent Coleta Wanjohi spoke to Solomon Dersso the founder of Amani Africa, a think tank with expertise in the African Union. He began by explaining international responses that have been directed over time to the DRC to quell conflict in its Eastern region.
