The Dance Academy in Berlin presents the graduating class of the contemporary dance program on stage: the Admission to Dance Choreographies 2012 were premiered on may 25th.
The graduating dancers perform choreographies by Florian Bücking, Norman Douglas, Isabel Gotzkowsky artistic assistance Jon Zimmerman, Lydia Klement, Cristina Perera and Heidi Weiss.

Katharina Bialluch, Franka Marlene Foth, Uta Eismann, Nuria Höyng, Theresa von Hunoltstein, Sophie Koll, Alex Neüff, Maria Seidel, Stefanie Tübinger, Katariina Tuomiluoma, Elisa Vasquez McCoy, Ira Wandschneider, Martin Schultz-Kristensen and Timo Staab.
The contemporary dance education program for stage dance covers a broad spectrum of dance styles so that graduates have a well-rounded foundation.
The training program includes classes in ballet, contemporary dance, modern dance, jazz dance, improvisation, partnering, composition, choreography and theoretical subjects such as applied anatomy, dance methodology and dance history.
Performances on stage are an essential part of the training. The graduating class prepares the full-length Admission To Dance performance, for which they work with various choreographers on very different pieces in order to present the broad spectrum of their skills. At the end of their training, the graduates present their own choreographic works: the Graduate Students Choreographies are premiered publicly every September in Berlin.
The 3-year Contemporary Dance Education Program of Dance Academy Balance 1 Berlin exists since 1996 and is officially approved.
