Experimenting in mixed media art is essential to developing your own artistic style and voice.
This week, I am experimenting with using the Suminagashi technique of pulling prints from ink and water. I have never done this before and only watched one video using this mixed media technique before I filmed.
In typical “Jackie-style,” you’ll experience the whole gamut of reactions as if you were sitting in the studio with me.
It is my hope that, as a mixed media artist, this video encourages you to spend time experimenting with new techniques.

⭐Best Viewing Experience for YOU ⭐
Every creative person has different needs. Here are the different ways to enjoy these videos.
- Some enjoy hearing me explain my process. If that’s you, make sure your volume is on.
- Others prefer to read my process through the closed caption subtitles. If that’s you, turn on the CC at the bottom right of the video.
- Some don’t want to hear my voice at all (that’s ok 😀). If that’s you, turn the volume off and watch.
I have had every video electronically translated through close captioned subtitles into 12 different languages to be able to reach and connect with as many people as possible. If your language is not represented, please let me know.
Note: at this time, I do not have the ability to have my emails translated. If you sign up for my mailing list, you will receive mail from me in English.
