When you hear the name Lockheed Martin, the first things that you would think of are space rockets and airplanes.
These are just some parts of what they do.
They have done a lot for the industries they are involved in, and until now, they are still one of the most successful companies in America, with a revenue of 67 billion dollars as of 2021.
In March 1995, a finalized merger of two companies occurred: the Lockheed Corporation and Martin Marietta.
The discussion of the merger dates back as early as March 1994 and announced its 10 billion dollar merger in August of the same year.
They have contributed a lot of products related to defense and aerospace.
From a company that was almost about to fail, it took risks and is now become one of the world’s biggest manufacturers for aerospace, technology, and beyond.
This is Lockheed Martin, and why they are more than just aerospace.
