In this poster presentation, Bio-Rad's Jeff Habel provides a description of a fully automated histidine-tagged protein purification from the optimization of the individual component column purifications. It demonstrates the ability of the NGC System to improve time to results through the use of the ChromLab™ Software scouting function. Using the phases in the included ChromLab Multi-D Templates, complete automated purification workflow methods can be easily created for any type of protein purification, resulting in highly pure and reproducible protein production.
Bio-Rad's NGC Preparative Chromatography Systems are designed to rapidly automate the purification of biomolecules. The flexible, modular, and economical design makes the NGC Systems the instruments of choice for method development and scale-up. NGC Systems are available in pre-plumbed, factory-tested configurations with two different flow rates. Each preconfigured system can be further customized and upgraded by adding valves, detectors, or pumps to meet specific application needs, such as tandem and 2D chromatography.
Any system can be configured for operation at either high or low flow rate by simply changing the pump head on the system pump module. With the NGC System, a single hardware platform can be modified as needed to suit changing applications and scales. Visit us on the web to learn more:
