In a game of Duels de Cartons, four British students are tested on their knowledge of French adverbs.
Taking it in turns, each student is presented with three boxes, each one with an adverb on it. They are then presented with series of sentences on cue cards, all with their adverbs missing.
The students then have have to select the box with the correct adverb on it, before reaching in and claiming their prize, or ... something else.
This clip is from the BBC series French Grammar for 14-16s. This series follows the adventures of four British students as they compete in a variety of fun and exciting challenges while on holiday in Paris. Each challenge has the aim of improving their knowledge of French Grammar.

Teaching French to 14-16s?
You could set up a challenge similar to that in the film. Split them into teams and give each team 3 boxes. Ask each team to come up with a series of sentences with the adverbs missing. They can then take it in turns to challenge another team to pick the correct adverb for their sentences.
