I'm seeing a little weight gain in my cockerels since I've started feeding them poultry conditioner and freeze-dried mealworms. They still have a way to go, but one thing that really stands out is their feather quality. I think this video gives a good representation of their sheen. My wife even mentioned that the males neck and back feathers are very "oily-looking".
