Today I received a 60 meter extension for my NY4G portable end-fed half-wave antenna (aka Ariel’s Aerial). The antenna normally covers 6, 10, 15, 20, 30, and 40 meters, no tuner required. I ordered the extension to add 80 meters when I placed my initial order for the NY4G EFHW antenna. Now I can also carry the option for 60 meters.

I weighed the antenna today. The antenna itself is approximately 10 ounces. The 80 meter extension weighs approximately 6 ounces. The 60 meter extension weighs approximately 3 ounces. The bag I carry the antenna in weighs 2 ounces. So the total weight will be approximately 21 ounces for coverage of the main bands I will likely use when operating as a portable station.
