Today we flew from Kyiv Ukraine to the beautiful city of the Black Sea called Batumi Georgia. My airbnb was in one of the new Orbi towers that was not yet even completed. This luxury high-rise apartment was only $50 for the night and could even be purchased for only $50,000. I found even cheaper condos in other buildings for as little as $16,000. The real estate market in Batumi is really booming!

After eating some great Georgian food along the coast, I took a dip in the Black Sea before going back to the apartment to get a nice long sleep in. The next day I awoke to head to the rental car agency (Cars4rent.ge) and Mirza hooked me up with a Toyota Highlander to help with the dirt and gravel roads that would take me up into the Caucasus Mountains to see the beautiful mountain cities of Mestia and Ushguli. Little did I know just how treacherous these roads would be.

Some of the attractions you may want to visit on your trip to Batumi include the Statue of Ali and Nino, the Alphabetic Tower, the Chacha Tower, the Argo Cable Car, Piazza Square, Europe Square, Adjaruli Khachapuri, and the Batumi Botanical Garden.
