Lotus LED Lights is proud to be once again the first to market with a new type of Super Thin Recessed fixture.
This 8” super slim recessed 18W is only 1/2 of an inch thick, able to fit in tightest of spots, and can be installed even under joists. That’s right - with this Type IC rated fixture there is no need for cans or octagon boxes.
The fixture employs the field-proven external driver-connection box. In the case there is no space next to the fixture for the driver/connection box, extension cables of 10 feet can be used to mount the drivers remotely up to 40” in an easily accessible location.
The cut out diameter is between 7 3/4” and 8 1/2”.
In a remodelling project with existing holes of a larger diameter the GR8 rings can be used to cover the hole and install the fixture, with a very pleasing visual effect.
For new construction projects the 26” long 8” opening rough in plates enable of the pre wiring of the fixtures before the drywall is in place.
The fixture gives out between 1200 lumen on the 3000 Kelvin option and 1260 lumen on the 4100 Kelvin option with 110 degrees light distribution, and is used to replace 120W fixtures.
