Sewage water treatment is amongst one of the key management objectives in managing urban water systems. In the context of low, and middle income countries, properly collect and treat sewage water represent a highly challenging, yet critically important task in views of urbanization, population growth and ever increasing demands and requirements in urban environmental management. In this webinar, Professor Marcos von Sperling provides a comprehensive overview and review of available sewage water treatment technologies, and discusses their effectiveness and applicability for low and middle income countries.
