Virtual Walking Tour - Poland, Wrocław
Among the inhabitants of Wrocław, the "Bermuda Triangle" region is known as a place inhabited by a lumpenproletariat, a particularly dangerous place (and a synonym for such), with a high crime rate. This is alluded to by the name "Bermuda Triangle", derived from the years of martial law in Poland, which appeared around 1982 in the underground press. "Bermuda Triangle" and its criminogenic nature were the inspiration for the lyrics of a song by Lech Janerka and his band Klaus Mitffoch: "Beware of these places" (from the Klaus Mitffoch album).
