How to make authentic "Jungli Maas" or "Junglee Maas" mutton recipe.
This recipe is unique as only 5 ingredients are used to prepare the dish. In old times, when Hunters used to go to the jungle to kill animals, they generally didn't use to carry many ingredients to prepare food. Since they had to wait for long duration in jungles sometimes many days, they used to kill and take whatever available ingredients from villagers nearby and used to prepare meat and hence the name "Junglee Maas" or Jungli Maas".
Preparation Time: 30 mins
Cooking Time: 1.5 hours
Servings: 4 to 6 persons
Ingredients:
1. Meat / Mutton (मटन) - 1.25 Kg
2. Desi Ghee / Clarified Butter (घी) - 200 gm
3. Kashmiri Red Chilli (कश्मीरी लाल मिर्च) - approx. 40 to 50 [You can also use Mathania Red Chillis or any other Red Chillis - Approx 30]
4. Khada Salt (नमक) - (check-in video)
5. Water as used in video
