The Year of God’s Justice and Mercy
As we step into 2025, we are all called to prepare ourselves to experience something new with God. Our theme for this year is The Year of God’s Justice and Mercy. In the midst of all the challenges we will face, we continue to believe that our God is a God of justice and love.
"The Lord is righteous in all His ways, and faithful in all His works. The Lord is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth. He fulfills the desires of those who fear Him; He hears their cry and saves them." Psalm 145:17-19 NIV
The sovereignty of God teaches us that everything in this world is under His control. Although we may not always understand His ways, we can be assured that God knows what is best for us. Everything we experience is part of His perfect plan.
God's mercy is the aspect that complements His sovereignty. He is just, and He is also full of love and forgiveness. In every step we take, we can rely on His endless mercy. Whatever we face, we can always be confident that God will never leave us.
When we remain faithful and act in faith, we will reap the fulfillment of God's promises. When we stray, the Holy Spirit is here to remind and guide us back to His path. Our God is always faithful. May He find our hearts, His children, faithful and trusting in Him.
"He will not let your foot slip—He who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, He who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep." Psalm 121:3-4 NIV
Let us face 2025 with full confidence that God is always just and full of love. May our hearts be filled with gratitude, our faith remain strong and unwavering, because our hope in the Lord rests on His mercy and goodness that will always be with us.
