The UN says the conflict in Syria has forced more than three million people to flee the country, an increase of one million in the past year alone.
The impact of this mass exodus is being felt across the Middle East, and especially in neighbouring Lebanon.
Lebanon is sheltering more than a million Syrians, and the conflict has denied many children access to any formal education.
