Wet weather is set to drench northern, central and south-eastern areas of England, as well as pockets of the south-west (pictured, main, lighting over Ramsgate this morning). Disgruntled commuters took to Twitter to express their disbelief at the terrible weather, with one writing: 'Tell me again, what month is it? Stood at the bus stop in a rain coat with my hood up.'
