Our organic biodynamic eggs come by way of Nantclyd Farm tucked away in Ystwyth Valley, in Wales. Being a biodynamic farm, a holistic approach is used to tend to the land, whereby the farm is seen as a whole living entity that’s self-sustaining. In this way of farming, lunar and planetary rhythms are taken into account, and there’s much more attention placed on how energy is transferred throughout the farm’s ecosystem. The laying hens on Nantclyd Farm spend all day roaming the rolling pastures and the nearby woodland, exploring to their heart’s content. When they’re hungry, they have plenty of home grown oats, peas and wheat to munch on – an example of that brilliant self-sustainability!
