I have tested and retested this recipe many times and finally perfected it. The combination of chocolate and orange flavor is a luxury that only you can make at home for yourself.
I also want to say that I used my homemade citrus marmalade to flavor the cream filling. I have shared that recipe already and I get a lot of questions about how long it stays fresh.
So I will answer that here. Since the marmalade is candied and has no mixture left, it stays fresh for months in the refrigerator even though it is not pressure sealed. I keep one jar in the fridge and the rest stays in the freezer and it never goes bad for me.
