From [ Ссылка ] this video talks about vanishing edge pools / infinity edge pools / negative edge pools which have the illusion of the water continuing to the horizon. This is accomplished by having one (or more) walls in the pool which are lowered to the actual water level. The water in the pool falls over the edge into a catch basin. These systems are much more complicated than a traditional pool filtration and plumbing system involving buried surge tanks, vacuum breakers on each return pipe etc.
While vanishing edge pools are a spectacle to see in person they are very far from a budget pool installation.
