We cordially invite you to witness the Valedictory Ceremony of the 15th NALSAR Justice Bodh Raj Sawhny Memorial Moot Court Competition, 2022, which is being organized by NALSAR, in association with the Justice B.R. Sawhny Trust. The Valedictory Ceremony is scheduled for today, 16th October 2022, from 05:30 – 07:00 PM (IST) at SAARC Law Hall.

The B.R. Sawhny Moot, known countrywide, has earned immense repute for its purpose and accomplishments in contributing to the scholarship on crucial constitutional issues. It has grown manifold in terms of its popularity and vision, evident from its rising participation figures throughout these years. We received participation from around 75 teams this year, which is the highest participation in any moot court competition held at NALSAR. 24 teams had qualified for the Oral Rounds scheduled to be held on 15-16 October 2022. This year's moot proposition was drafted by Prof. Sandeep Suresh, Assistant Professor at Jindal Global Law School. It invokes volumes of brainstorming around the electoral bonds scheme, decriminalisation of politics, prisoner voting rights, and delimitation of electoral constituencies.
