A beautiful biplane flown in ww1 designed by Gustave Delage.
It was a very light plane with a very particular characteristic: a rotating 9 cylinder radial engine (Le Rhône :110 kW /152 HP; 150 CV)...
Francesco Barraca was a ww1 ace with 31 air victories, and his personal insignia was the baracca´s horse; nowadays well known as the prancing horse of Ferrari. The plane bellows to the 91a squadriglia established on 1 May 1917.
