At the start of 2016, Christa's Crew (Stourbridge, Kidderminster, Bromsgrove & Redditch Rock Choirs) saw an influx of new members. This means that some of our indoor gigs are too small to hold all 4 choirs and we've had to split the choirs into 2 halves.
At The Bridge Church in Redditch on Saturday 9th April, members of the Bromsgrove & Redditch Choirs put on a concert to raise funds for charity. Not only did the Choir sing but individual members also sang and performed in the first half, including choir leader Christa.
The acoustics of a church always make the choir performances quite magical and members of the Stourbridge & Kidderminster choirs went along to support their fellow Rockies. It was also the debut performance of two new songs: As Long As You Love Me & You Get What You Give and all the performances were fabulous. Well done Rockies!!
The next gig will be by the other half of Christa's Crew - Stourbridge & Kidderminster Rock Choirs - on Saturday 16th April at the Allen Memorial Hall in Wombourne, WV5 0LE. It's the Spring Fayre for WINGS (Wombourne Special Needs Support Group) which was started by one of our Stourbridge Rockies & we're hoping to help them raise plenty of money, so come along from 2pm and say hello.
