Each year, an institute member of the Big XII Council on Black Student Government hosts the Annual Big XII Conference on Black Student Government. In 2014, Iowa State University had the honor and privilege to host the annual conference.

As a part of the conference, a stroll off competition was held that consisted of National Pan-Hellenic Council Fraternities and Sororities. The rules were as follows:

The Stroll Off consisted of two rounds. Round one was the organization's choice of song(s). After three minutes, the DJ would then play a random song to test how well the organization transitioned into the music with their strolls.

Round two was dedicated to old school. This allowed each organization to be as creative as they want with their music, costumes, etc.
