Gov. Phil Murphy says expect more reopening announcements after this weekend. In New Jersey, 3 million residents are now fully vaccinated. Just shy of 7 million total doses have been put in arms since the COVID-19 vaccine rollout began in December.
Friday, officials announced 1,686 new, positive cases and 26 new deaths. Since the start of the pandemic, there have been 872,927 cases in the state and 25,554 confirmed and probable deaths.
