Today I list the top 5 blended whiskies for me. Blended Scotch is a mixture of malt and grain whiskies and although not highly regarded by snobs, they do make the majority of the whisky in the world.
Mostly coming with weak specs, blends are more intended towards the general public than the enthusiast but these days we're seeing more and more blends breaking the mold and give us some decent drams.
Although I'd love to include Maclean's Nose, Thompson Bro's Blended Scotch, Ardray and some others I can think of having stronger specs I just don't have them and haven't tried them yet.
