Hi, this time I'm trying to repair a vintage 1960s Omega DeVille. This is sold at only $100 for parts for repair by a private seller. Let's see why this watch had to be undervalued so much.
I couldn't find so much information about the watch - Omega 135.019 with caliber 601. My one is De Ville and the case size is about 34mm. I needed some parts but I got several wrong parts due to a lack of information. The crystal size is 31.95mm. I got two 31.6mm crystals by my mistakes. I also got the wrong stem. The stem should be 600-1159, not 600-1160. It took two months in total as a consequence, and most time was for waiting for replacement parts. I hope this video helps someone who gets this nice watch that needs repair.
This is a kind of how-to video but I am not a watchmaker and doing this hobby for my watch. I hope you liked this restoration, if so, like, comment, and subscribe :)
