On our third day of exploring the small island of Vieques we first went to the amazing ruins of the Hacienda Sugar Mill. This was one of my favorite abandoned ruins, right up there with La Rambla in Lares. Then we stumbled upon yet another abandoned military bunker area hidden beneath a lot of brush and trees. And finally we were on our way to the beaches when we came across the Kiani Lagoon which is also said to have lots of bioluminescence.
