Marshmallows placed in vacuum chamber will expand due to Boyle's Law. As the pressure is decreased in the chamber the gas trapped in the solid (marshmallows) will expand to the point of "bursting". Watch how the marshmallows change as the pressure returns. One even jumps for joy however they are still very depressed.
