TrES 2b Located 750 light years away from our solar system in the Draco Constellation.
while exploring the space during Trans Atlantic Exoplanet Survey( TrES).
It's a gas giant just like Jupiter But Hot.
It Comes in a Special Category of Planets called Hot Jupiter.
why is this planet so much darker?
first, It might not have light reflecting clouds like Jupiter. They might be destroyed by solar radiation because it is very near to it's parent Star.
Second, it might be of the chemical composition of the planet, there might be light absorbing chemical present in it's atmosphere like Sodium, Potassium & titanium oxide in the gas form.
it was Discovered on August 21, 2006.
In 2011, it was identified as the Darkest Planet Known to Humans in Our Galaxy.
