Malaysia has removed AstraZeneca from its main pool of coronavirus vaccines, after public concerns about possible links between the inoculation and blood clots. The vaccine will still be available for people who specifically ask for it. Malaysia plans to vaccinate up to 80% of its population by end-2021. So far, less than 5% of the population have been vaccinated with either Pfizer or Sinovac.
