The Washington State University Dance-A-Thon is an energizing philanthropic experience that culminates in a 12-hour day of dancing, food, fun and inspiration. Donations raised will benefit Pullman Regional Hospital and will be used to fund the highest capital needs for women and children.
Our motto, "Standing Up for Women and Children," represents our commitment to fund capital items for the betterment of care in the community.
This year, one of these needs for women is a 3D Breast Tomosynthesis machine:
Tomosynthesis is a revolutionary technology that gives radiologists the ability to identify and characterize individual breast structures using three-dimensional imaging. It is able to detect up to 40 percent more cancers and decreases the rates of patient recalls or "false positives."
